The special screening event for Paul McGuigan’s action thriller ‘Push’ has been held in Los Angeles and was attended by many celebrities from Dakota Fanning to some of ‘Twilight’ cast. Less than ten days away from the theatrical release of “Push” in the U.S., Summit Entertainment held a Los Angeles premiere for the sci-fi action thriller. The studio rolled down red carpet in front of Mann Village Theater in Westwood, California on Thursday, January 29, to welcome celebrities attending the special screening event. Spotted coming to the premiere were most of the film’s cast ensemble; they were Chris Evans, Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle, Djimon Hounsou, Neil Jackson, Maggie Siff and Ming-Na. On the occasion, Evans, Fanning, Belle and Hounsou also joined director Paul McGuigan on the red carpet and posed for the press line. Apart from the cast and crew, the evening event saw the attendance of several Hollywood celebs from “Twilight” cast, Edi Gathegi, Rachelle Lefevre, Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene, to model/fashion mogul Kimora Lee Simmons. TV actress Alice Greczyn has also been seen coming to the premiere.

With two Fantastic Four movies under his belt as Johnny Storm aka the Human Torch, and the upcoming psychic thriller Push, Chris Evans clearly enjoys playing characters with superpowers, though he admits that may change. While promoting Push, Evans told JoBlo.com that there’s not going to be a Fantastic Four 3: “I think they’re done. They’ve closed the book on that franchise. I think if there was talk I think that I would’ve heard about it by now.” A Push sequel is more likely. Push co-star Dakota Fanning said “You never know” to the possibility, with Evans adding: “Well said.” [Source] |

“Fantastic Four” star Chris Evans has leftie politics in his blood. But the Sudbury homey still didn’t make it to President Obama’s inauguration. “I wish I could have been in D.C., actually. My uncle (Mike Capuano) is a congressman and used to be the mayor of Somerville . I was going to go bother him, but I figured he’d be busy,” Evans told the Track. Apparently the Evans brood bleeds blue. “My family is insanely left. Are you kidding me? Absolutely. John McCain - just the name is blasphemous,” said Johnny Storm’s alter ego. In his new flick, “Push,” with kid superstar Dakota Fanning, Evans plays a young expatriate with telekinetic and telepathic abilities who has to hide from a government agency. The movie was filmed in Hong Kong, where Bay State hacks wouldn’t last a minute! |

Clairvoyant Dakota Fanning and telekinetic Chris Evans are on a mission to save their skins from Cassie’s dire prediction, in some new clips from the new mind-bending movie Push. Push, the movie about a bunch of mind powered teens on the run from the evil Division (which most likely uses the brain powers of vision, telekinesis, sonic screaming and memory-implanting for evil). In these three new clips, see Dakota (Cassie) who has the power to see the future, and Chris (Nick) who has the power to move things with his big mind, fight evil and search for answers. Push, directed by Paul McGuigan, will be out in theaters on February 6th. [Source] |
