‘Captain America’ Chris Evans Spends Time with Hospital Kids

Captain America is alive and well and living right here in the U.S.A. It seems the actor that played the superhero really takes the role to heart.

Chris Evans, who brought the comic book giant to life on the big screen, is gaining some hero status in his own right. It seems that he finds his good fortune a blessing and he wants to spread the wealth around. That includes giving something back to his youngest fans.

Chris spent much of his time last Thursday visiting kids stuck in Children’s Hospital of Boston for the holidays. His mother joined him in his quest. Together, they entertained and played with the little ones who could make it to the hospital playroom. They didn’t stop there, however; they then took the time to visit the children confined to their beds.

Of course, Captain America gave out more than a few autographed pictures of himself to those wanting a memento of the day. However, in reality it was Evans’s heart and soul that touched the young ones the most. That may have gained him superhero status above that of his alter ego.

Way to go, Chris! [Source]
